Horizon Honors Elementary School Grades 3-4 students completed a house challenge!
Students had 20 minutes to create a car out of food. Then they tested the entries to see which house's car went the furthest. "Vivo" won (using the car with two cookie wheels)! 🏆

🌵🐾 Horizon Honors Elementary School Grades 1-2 students had a blast with a special visit from the Phoenix Zoo! 🦎🐍 They learned all about desert life and its amazing creatures! 🐢

Thanks a "hole" bunch to the Horizon Honors Staff Appreciation Committee for the yummy coffee and donuts for all our hard-working staff members!

Ms. Houghtaling's Math Block 1 at Horizon Honors Elementary School worked in Math Centers! Students learned about about shapes and practiced adding and subtracting.

Principal Wanstreet was invited to be a Guest Reader in Horizon Honors Elementary School's Kindergarten Silver Classroom! 📖
The students were excited about the story, "Today I Feel Silly and Other Moods That Make My Day" by Jamie Lee Curtis and thanked her for her visit with lovely cards and drawings!
